Day 3: Sao Luis

Day 4: Sao Luis -Barreirinhas
After breakfast, on your way to another early adventure at 6:30 am, in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle heading to Barreirinhas, traveling on paved roads on a journey of approximately 4 hours. On the way, a brief 20-minute stop offers the opportunity to use the bathrooms and enjoy a refreshing meal. The Lenis Maranhenses National Park, a natural treasure close to the city, reveals itself as a spectacle of nature, with majestic dunes sculpted by the winds that cross the park. After the rainy season, which lasts until mid-May, hundreds of crystal clear lagoons form, creating a stunning scenery. Arrival at the hotel around 12:00 marks the beginning of the real exploration. At 2:00 pm, we will leave in an exciting 4x4 bib-type vehicle to cross the Preguias River on a ferry, followed by sand trails, lakes, and small dunes, on a journey of approximately 50 minutes until we reach the heart of the Lenis Maranhenses National Park. The vehicle will make a strategic stop at the "foot" of the dunes, where we will begin our climb, encountering the exuberant beauty of the lagoons. Along the route, there will be stops for invigorating swims in several lagoons, providing a unique experience, which varies depending on the time of year. At dusk, we will head to the highest dune to witness the heavenly spectacle of the sunset over the dunes while enjoying a delicious picnic, one of the most exciting moments of the journey, ideal for capturing memorable photographs. Day 5: Barreirinhas
Explore the untouched beauty of Santo Amaro on an exciting full-day tour departing from Barreirinhas. Leaving Barreirinhas marks the beginning of a picturesque journey, crossing winding roads and stunning natural scenery lasting 1h40. Day 6: Barreirinhas - Atins
After breakfast, today's fascinating journey adventure is a speedboat voyage through the Preguias River Route (an Environmental Protection Area). Enjoy the beautiful landscape and the typical mangrove vegetation, as well as some regional animals and birds. Stop first at Vassouras Community, where Guariba monkeys are protected, then continue to the Mandacaru community to see the Preguias Lighthouse. Don't forget to try the regional fruit ice creams and cocktails, an authentic culinary experience. The last stop before lunch is Cabur, a region of dunes that separates the Preguias River from the Atlantic Ocean, offering deserted beaches and a unique atmosphere. Here, enjoy time for a regional lunch (not included), relax in hammocks by the river, or enjoy an invigorating swim in the river or sea. The tour ends at Atins beach, where a transport will wait to take you to the inn. After a boat transfer to Atins, you will be taken to your hotel. Free afternoon to explore the beauty of the village. Day 7: Atins
Today, you will discover Atins. Take a 4x4 trip to the sand dunes for a stroll and then to the nearby lagoons before the breathtaking beach of Canto do Atins. Lunch today is a rustic affair of grilled or fried fish and shrimp (this meal is not included), at Mr. Antnio's renowned restaurant, promising a unique gastronomic experience. After lunch, we will enjoy a well-deserved rest in strategically placed hammocks, allowing you to feel the invigorating sea breeze before returning to your guesthouse. Get ready for a day full of discoveries, flavors, and relaxation, where every moment will be an essential part of this picture of beauty and delight. At around 3:00 pm, we leave for the tip of the mangrove, where we will ride a quad bike through beautiful dunes, from the park, taking a beautiful OFF-ROAD ride. Day 8: Atins - Delta do Parnaiba
After a delicious breakfast, we will begin our journey by boarding a speedboat for a brief 15-minute crossing of the Preguias River to Cabur. From there, we will continue to explore the region in a 4x4 vehicle heading to Tutia. The route reveals 15 km of deserted beaches, followed by 5 km of stunning dunes and, later, 10 km of exciting off-road trails. We will cross the picturesque Paulino Neves and continue along another 30 km of paved road to our destination. In Tutia, we will board another flying boat to dive into the waters of the Parnaba Delta. We will navigate through the intricate labyrinths formed by the streams, witnessing the captivating crab-catching demonstration and exploring local fishing grounds. As we pass through Olha de So Bernardo, we will see a simple little church in the middle of nowhere, and at Morro do Meio, we will cool off in the waters of Parnaba. Lunch, not included, will be a unique experience on one of the Delta islands, as instructed by our guide/pilot. The grand finale of this exciting tour is marked by a spectacular sunset, painting the horizon with dazzling hues. A complete experience, full of nature, beauty, and unforgettable moments along the waters of Parnaba. At the end of the day, we will arrive at Porto de Tatus in Parnaba, where the transfer will take us to the welcoming Pousada for a peaceful night. Day 9: Delta do Parnaiba
After breakfast, an exciting journey towards Porto dos Tatus, where a flying boat awaits to take us to the stunning Praia dos Poldros. Our adventure will take us through the fascinating Igarap dos Periquitos, a narrow branch of the river intertwined in the heart of the Parnaba Delta. In this natural sanctuary, we will be captivated by the crab-catching demonstration, while the possibility of spotting monkeys, alligators, and white and brown herons adds a wild touch to the experience. When we reach the paradisiacal Praia dos Poldros, we will make a strategic stop at the 4th mouth of the Parnaba river, witnessing the magnificent spectacle of the river's waters meeting the sea. On the way back, we will take a brief break in a charming fishing village to explore the second largest island in the Delta, the Canary Island. For those who wish, the opportunity for a delicious lunch (not included) in one of the local restaurants offers an authentic gastronomic experience. On the way back, one last stop awaits us at the dunes of Morro Branco, known as Pequenos Lenis Piauienses. Day 10: Delta do Parnaiba - Jericoacoara
Around 9:00 am, we will begin our journey in a 4x4 vehicle, leaving Parnaba and heading to Jericoacoara. Along the way, we will pass through Camocim, where we will board a ferry bound for Ilha do Amor. There, we will begin an immersive trail, covering kilometers of dunes and deserted beaches. We will make strategic stops to capture unique moments at Duna do Funil and the enchanting Lagoa da Torta in Tatajuba. There, we will have the opportunity to choose our lunch (not included) from a "live" menu, where we select the fresh fish that will be prepared for our meal. Furthermore, we will be able to enjoy moments of relaxation in the hammocks by the lagoon. We will continue our journey along the beaches to Guri, where we will make another ferry crossing, heading towards Mangue Seco, and finally, we will arrive in Jericoacoara. Day 11: Jericoacoara
Around 09:00, we will set out on a journey full of natural wonders and stunning landscapes. Our first stop will be at the intriguing Tree of Sloth, which, curiously, seems to rest under the strong and continuous winds of the region. Get ready to capture unique moments in photos! Next, we will be enchanted by the stunning Praia do Pre, known for its extensive sands and wild beauty that make up the coast of this incredible state. The adventure continues with a visit to Lagun Beach, a water park located in Cavalo Branco. Here, we will have a break to explore and enjoy the park's attractions, adding a dose of fun to our itinerary. We will then head towards the paradisiacal Buraco Azul, a lagoon with turquoise blue waters that invites you to a refreshing swim and moments of relaxation. Next, we will explore the stunning Lagoa do Paraso, where we will stop for lunch (not included), enjoying not only a delicious meal, but also the unique atmosphere of this spectacular location. On the way back, our journey will take us to the unmissable National Park at Lagoa do Amncio, offering additional opportunities to explore the natural and cultural richness of the region.
